The Bank of Korea's monetary policy board on Thursday decided to keep the nation's benchmark interest rate unchanged at 2.75% for the fourth straight month. The decision was in line with expectations as soft economic data has been offset by low inflation and the central bank expects CPI to remain low for the time being. The bank remains uncertain about the global recovery, however.
